It's that time of the week again here at 20 Years Before 2000...It's time for the Throwback Jam of the Week! These are the jams currently on my trusty Creative ZEN MP3 player and they encompass everything from Motown R&B classics to hip-hop & rap from the 80s & 90s! I would like to share them with you in the hopes that they get you off your feet and bring back some sweet nostalgic memories! So throw on your Calvin Klein underwear, get your hair cut in the fresh Baldie style and slip on your Zips kicks as we take you back! Without further ado, here is the 20 Years Before 2000 Throwback Jam of the week...
Artist: Marky Mark And The Funky Bunch
Song: You Gotta Believe
Album: You Gotta Believe (Released 1992)
Peak Billboard Hot 100 Position: 45
Bonus Fun Fact: After this album did not perform well Marky Mark went on to record two more albums with Reggae artist Prince Ital Joe!
I bought this album a few weeks ago for a buck and have to admit the driving force behind getting it was because I really like the song, Music for the People. It's catchy good.
ReplyDeleteI am not afraid to say that I am a Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch fan! Those 2 albums they dropped are on my regular rotation at work!
