In 2013 the song was re-recorded by ONYX for the compilation album "Urban Classics of the 80's, 90's & 2000's". This song was listed as the #1 "Best Hip-hop workout song" in 2016 by XXL Magazine.
They have eight studio albums, but I never really heard much from them beyond this track. Are they a one hit wonder?
ReplyDeleteThey've had some other hit songs too like "Throw Ya Gunz", "Judgement Night", "React" & "Shut 'Em Down". But none of those could compare to the phenomenon that was "Slam"!
