Throw on your Jean Jacket and head to the DJ booth as we take you back to the 80's! Without further ado, here is the 20 Years Before 2000 THROWBACK JAM OF THE WEEK!!

Artist: Chaka Khan

Album: I Feel For You (1984)
Peak Billboard Hot 100 Position: 3
Bonus Fun Fact: This song features rapping by "Furious Five" member Melle Mel. 1. Chaka Khan is one of the few artists out there to churn out a remake that was better than the original. The fact that she did it better than Prince only makes it all the more impressive.

    1. I agree. Prince's version is fine, but Chaka really took it to the next level and made it a hit!

    1. Did you know the intro was actually done by mistake, but the producer liked it so much, they decided to keep it in the song? Glad they did, it's catchy, memorable and leaves no doubt in your mind who sings this classic jam!
